BUSINESS ADMIN INTERN

Do you get excited to see an idea grow into sustainable action? Are you an overtly organized, polished, and well-spoken individual who understands the behind the scenes of the day-to-day? Do you study Business, or Business Admin, and are ready to see a business model into new avenues? Do you enjoy the tasks to keep all the plates in the air (such as correspondence, calendar organizing, meeting scheduling etc)?  If this is you, send us your resume, portfolio (if applicable), and a letter highlighting your amazing talents. Put Business Admin Intern in the subject line of your email.


The Marion Design Co Internship program provides an opportunity for motivated undergraduate students from diverse educational backgrounds to engage in community initiatives in Marion, Indiana. Led by Indiana Wesleyan University design professors and MDCo
Co-founders, Herb Vincent Peterson and Wendy Puffer, the student will participate in multiple forms of design research. The topics of research will be in response to community needs. The student will gain experience with Triangulation (mixed) methods of research with an emphasis on Design Thinking.
Since its inception, Marion Design Co has determined “next steps” in response to the needs of the city. In an effort to organize a workforce dedicated to a meaningful and trustworthy design process, an application process for Summer (approx. June through August) and Fall (September through December) is being introduced. Applicants should be flexible and prepared to work hard, contributing to an environment of creativity and collaboration.
