OUR PROCESS.
We believe the design process is a collaboration that fuses our creative strengths with your in-depth understanding to produce communication and materials that sing. The following describes each step we will take with you during our collaboration.

RESEARCH
Because great design starts by understanding your problems, we begin by asking questions. A lot of questions. We work to understand your self-image, goals, audience, project parameters, and desired outcomes. We’ll research your intended audiences and study the competition. We may even conduct surveys, audit current designs, and survey you or your clients. We’ll define the design problems and discover strategies for solving those problems effectively and memorably.

CREATIVE EXPLORATION
This is where we introduce intuitive thinking into our problem-solving process. Through creative thinking exercises and collaborative discourse, we’ll develop ideas to visually express your core message. Mind-maps, moodboards, and color studies are some of the key ways we build the foundation that will lead us into development.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Every choice, from layout and color to type size and style, is made with your goals in mind. Whether it’s design materials, social media posts, or another project, we make sure the designs are top notch. Our goal is that whatever we build speaks your voice in the visual details. During this stage, we will present the design direction to you and work with you to ensure the proposed solution meets your direction.

dESIGN IMPLEMENTATION
All the planning in the world is wasted without proper execution. At this part in the phase we sweat the details, ensuring that every element works toward the communicated goal of the project. We proof and refine the design. We check, double-check, proof again, and prepare the design for final implementation. Then we proof your project again, because we can’t be too careful.

OUTCOME EVALUATION
Our work isn’t done after the project is delivered. We want to know how the design is working. We’d love to gather feedback and evaluate not only how the process went, but also what the response has been from our outcomes. After the project is done, we are still your neighbor - so wave hello in passing!
